The Carroll County Education Association's purpose is:

  1. To work for the welfare of school children, the advancement of education, and the improvement of instruction of all.

  2. To develop and promote the adoption of such ethical practices, personnel policies, and standards of preparation and participation as mark a profession.

  3. To unify and strengthen the teaching profession and to secure and maintain the salaries, retirement, tenure, professional and sick leave, and other working conditions necessary to support teaching as a profession.

  4. To enable members to speak with a common voice on matters pertaining to the teaching profession and to present their individual and common interests before the Board of Education or other legal authority.

Our site is just about the way we want it to be; and although not all of the pages are uniform in structure, I'm continuing to make changes and improvements.  If there was just a little more time in the day and the programs would cooperate just a little more, I'd be able to have all the pages of the Advocate as well as the other informational pages fully operational. 

I hope that you will continue to be understanding while we work on getting this website up to its full potential.  At this time, not all of our links are always working.
